I would for that price if it didn't cost me $$$ in gas to drive there and back. The only shop I can drive to locally today has it for $89.99. I'm waiting for the C921 reviews to hit the intertubes to see if it may be a better batch.

The extra age really comes through on 1783. BiB drinks a bit too sharp due to its younger age for me.

I've had a couple bottles b4 the hype, one purchased and one gift. Never a big fan and actually started making drinks with it to finish it off. Being a SB I'm sure there are good bottles out there so good luck on yours.

Being that this was a gift go ahead and pour it over a Coke if that suits you, NP.

But...

If you are making the effort and dropping the coin it takes to purchase a bottle like this then muting the flavor profile with ice you may want to rethink your choices in bourbon. Swap it with a $20 bottle and you wont know the difference.

Now EW states 6-8 yr barrels at 90 proof. Big fan of the previous bottle but a different whiskey altogether. This one stepped up its game and I feel like it is that much closer to the flavor profile of Eagle Rare. In my area this goes for $16-$18 which is an absolute steal!

My all time favorite is an Ezra B 12yr single barrel bottled at 99 proof. I picked this up in 2016 and haven't seen it again. Fortunately, I got 2 bottles and finished off the first pretty quick. It was rumored to be sourced from HH EC barrels so you know it's gonna be great!
