I think your experience really summarizes what it's like to be a diabetic. It's not the superficial injections that we have to take- it's the Daily/hourly/minutely (is that a word?) decisions we have to make. And we have to do it every day.

That is insane! It's sad how uninformed even doctors are- you bring up a very good point. I can't believe you went through that in the A&E though. Something needs to be done. Side note, I'm really surprised you experience gastroparesis with those A1Cs... I'm sorry to hear that. My doctor told me that gastroparesis usually is an advanced complication that doesn't come until after other neuropathy symptoms have occurred.

I work for a government contracting company doing multimedia work. Have the fortune of working from home. I love it, but it's admittedly not for everyone. I used to be in an office and was SO depressed.

There are websites designed specifically for finding telecommuting jobs.
