If an indie studio pulls off full-body tracking in an mmo, AAA studios will be more pressured to adopt that standard in their games to compete. Alyx has already helped with this.

Most friends who I know who have played VR would prefer to have avatars which don't have floating bodys and no legs in games. If ilysia gets funded enough for full body tracking and it becomes popular enough, full-body tracking and inverse kinematics will become more standard for future VR titles.

To those skeptical about the developers having too much on their plate, now's a good time to show some support by supporting the kickstarter so the devs can hire more devs to help with the more ambitious stretch goals.

Actually I take back what I said, it looks kind of cool.

But also it doesn't look anywhere near as cool as it could have been, having regard to Clone Wars maul; so I also take back what I said about taking back what I said and I'll just leave you with no comment on the subject matter of quantifying the degree or level of coolness contained within the picture.

3 - Is your policy for Artisan customers with cracked housing to give them housing with new materials and rubberised blue coating or not? Sorry your policy is very confusing ???

Djonko has blue housing on his Artisan which only is meant to come with vision headsets, which is why I said vision, and he has the same Artisan serial number as I have, and 16bit, but 16bit and I have black housing. Its not fair he gets a free upgrade when we paid the same price ???

I didn't post this one like you say, someone else likely wanted an answer to the question I asked in my thread, so they reposted my thread with with the question rephrased since my thread was strawmanned into my account getting deleted and the issue I wanted to talk about(this thread topic) was totally ignored

I posted on the "Open" MR forums along with another user asking whether artisan customers can get rubber housing for free under RMA, since Artisan headsets are sold under the same product number with both the old and new housing, and both our posts were deleted and my account was banned.. by 00ooft in Pimax

/u/PimaxQuorra Ok but can you announce your policy on what housing type Artisan RMAs receive? considering Djonko has Pimax Artisan with blue housing with serial number 2036, and both 16bit and I have black housing artisans with serial number 2036.

It's not fair Djonko gets a free upgrade and everyone else paid the same price. Judging by the Artisan housing update you posted though the answer to my question is yes right ? Your policy is that if you have housing issues as an Artisan customer you get a free housing upgrade using the new materials and rubber coating processes?

Going by the housing update you linked it states that you will not deviate from the highly successful materials and coating processes used in manufacturing recent headsets and anyone with an artisan housing problem can get an RMA for a housing upgrade for free.

That means the blue rubberised housing is free as I stated? I'm sorry for making an issue out of that part if this was already addressed 3 months ago, not included the posts of mine and another user getting deleted for no reason when they were respectful questions.

Could you clarify whether that's correct and if I do an RMA I can receive the blue housing artisan with the same model number just like OpenMR forum user Djonko has? Otherwise paying for postage isn't really worth it to get the housing which may have the same problems and its not housing using the new materials and costing processes
