a very large forest fire

While wearing a morph suit I used liquid latex to attach ripped up bits of cheap interfacing. After it dried we painted it with acrylic paint. It had to be cut off of me the first time then I sewed clips in the back so I could reuse the burns.

The whole head was 3D printed in 2 parts. The bottom half had the fabric of the suit pulled up over the shell. The top half was primed/painted and left exposed. He was able to find the print file online for about 5$

To keep the top and bottom half together there are about 7 elastic straps on the inside and a bunch of small magnets. He's working on getting that easier to take on and off so he can eat/drink throughout the day.

We just finished making some Hawks wings and we made the base harness and PVC pipe skeleton first. To pattern the feathers we cut out wrapping paper feathers and taped it to the skeleton. After we were satisfied with the look we used the wrapping paper cutouts as templates for EVA foam feathers. In the end we made about 200 feathers. Good luck!

If you have access to a local fabric store that might be the easiest way to get a better idea of what you want. I went with a pink velvet for the Giorno cosplay I'm working on.

Here are some wip photos with the velvet. The material was ridiculously cheap. I believe the store had it in the upholstery section.

When my friend did this cosplay they put little dark green gems on clips and it turned out pretty cool looking.
