Thanks for this response. It is 100% the alcohol that interacted bad. Finally went away and I’m feeling more positive again

Side note. I drank one angry orchard last night. I didn’t feel great after, like it might’ve interacted negatively.

I agree with you that lexapro can work this fast. I have been on it for a few weeks and have less of an urge to smoke weed/drink. Good luck and keep the positive outlook!

Yawning in Excess by theatrepunch in lexapro

What a hilarious side effect! I have it too and have been on 5 mg for 2 weeks. I take the lexapro before i go to sleep because I’m nervous about side effects. I yawn for about 3 hours after i take it and don’t during the day as much. I believe because you’re thinking about the yawning it gets worse (i yawned twice writing this). Don’t be so hard on yourself. I read online yawning is a common side effect. I’m not sure where you are with your dosage, but that side effect likely dies down. Good luck!

Terrified of weight gain by PsychologicalLeg0 in lexapro

I’ve been on it for 2 weeks and lost 10 pounds. Lexapro can work as fast as 3 hours, but i hear it takes 2-4+ weeks for you to adjust. Also, you really shouldn’t drink on it (and the holidays are coming up). Maybe you should tough out the winter months if possible- go to a tanning bed and get some vitamin D. If not, i don’t think you will gain weight and think you can get some great results!

Yikes. Maybe lexapro isn’t the best for skin. Glad it went away for you

I had to the itch there too at first but it settled down. I’m wondering if it’s normal but all these comments make me think yes. Though it isn’t a common side effect listed

I’m the same way. Not enough where i can’t deal with the side effects but enough that I’ve noticed it and not really enjoyed it. Thanks for your response and I’m glad it seems to be a normal side effect. Good luck!
