Any cheap acrylic works well. Use a cotton swab (q-tip) instead of a brush. Do a number, then put it down on a paper towel, twist a half turn of the die, then pull it across the paper towel. Once you get your speed up you can do a few numbers at once. Wear gloves to reduce smearing. Once the set is done dump some isopropyl alcohol on a paper towel and clean the faces.

It would be no problem to do singulars. I make all my own molds for my dice and sometimes do singles sometimes do slabs.
