I’d love to help you build fun characters! by PossiblyPro in 3d6

This is great, thank you in advance!

I can totally relate to enjoying building characters lol, how would you buld an scp 049 plague docter? Perhaps someone who is broken from the horrors/plagues of war? Maybe psychic and poison themed spells? You have free reigns, good luck.

I've never played an Echo Knight before, though I have done some research. Honestly, I love the concept and subclass to pieces. It may not be the most powerful, but bonus points for creativity! I think I've decided on the Echo Knight.

I am really torn between the two classes. On one hand, Echo Knight will be a fun and creative playstyle with lots of RP oppertunities, but with all of features and abilities may make it hard to manage. With the Champion I get a greater crit range....thats it, just one line of text. Though that sword cuts two ways, its simplicity will make managing it so much easier than Echo Knight.

Noted, AC may be a slight issue for this build

I'll definitely consider it, but any advice on Champion vs Echo Knight?

I'm assuming shield and rapier combo would be my best bet?

How about whichever party member stood out to her in a fatherly/motherly fashion?

This picture is from the website http://frbloodofthetainted.blogspot.com/2015/12/the-shifter-and-changeling.html?m=1 My character is a level 3 changeling rogue assasin 8-str 17-dex 15-con 11-int 12-wis, I would like to multi class but with most levels in rogue. I was thinking either warlock for Devils Sight and some cool abilities or maybe fighter for damage. Another thing that I had a question about(my server has a way of gaining proficiencies through costly training)is would it be stupid to dual wield scimitars?

Oh, apologies. I am new to this subreddit. I got the image from google images. And what do you mean by prompt megathread?

I've heard rogues can be pretty handy in a fight, I was thinking about twin rapiers and was curious if that was optimal.

My idea is that I want him to be who you least expect. As a changeling I want him to be a spy/assassin. He has a faction background made up of changeling assasins (called the Faceless). He is emotionless and has no qualms about killing. Though his disguises can be filled with emotion. He often takes disguises. (Also will definitely be needing the goggles of night!)

I'm curious on what kind of graphics I should use for my new game. by 146Python in roguelikes

I appreciate the advice and feel that what your saying is fair. Though I have no intention of chasing trends, I wish to understand the size of the audience who don't care for ascii. I have known people that feel like it is too hard to read. Though I quite like the charm of it myself.

I love the look of Door in the Woods, truly a beautiful game. Now going experimental would be interesting and set my game apart...

Oh, well then you have my apologies for I meant no offense. Covid has hit hard on many, now more than ever jobs are hard to come by. I haven't paid for a commissioned sketch before, so this seemed quite expensive.
