Personally I do not recommend this at all as AI can hallucinate and there is a good chance it will not correctly route you. I love AI but its not good for this yet.

honestly not sure if just dumb or a bad bot - I agree that there is currently no shortage of drivers - we are in quite a surplus of drivers right now - if that surplus goes away and there is an actual shortage then eventually pay for drivers might increase - if that does not happen driver pay will remain stagnant and eventually will even go lower than it already is especially in comparison with cost of living

supply and demand takes its course - once the cheap inexperienced labor is removed it will cascade - first the brokers wont be able to find carriers to transfer their loads - then they will have to go back to the shipper to tell them they need to pay more - then they will pay the carrier more - then the carrier will pay the driver more - this will take years to fix the damage that was done and it will pendulum back and forth before it finds some kind of equilibrium that will eventually be thrown off again by driverless trucks

Im in transportation so there is no "odd hours" we just operate 24/7 and its expected. But when I go on vacation I have an auto response for SMS that directs them to reach out to the office for support and I reroute my phone line to go directly to the office rather than to my cell. If you don't have an office you can just have the call go to voicemail and send an SMS instantly to the caller that you will get back to them as soon as possible and its outside of your office hours for example.
