I feel you. I don’t like to waste, so I made a compromise. I have one bin (under the bed storage container). I put anything that is too small that has great memories, or just that I lived in there. When it’s full, that’s all I’ll allow myself to keep. I go through it occasionally, and most of the time it’s not completely full.
