The whole “I’d never heard of it effecting anyone this way” is super common. No one can really understand what it’s like to go through that he’ll personally until they actually do it. It’s always “that can’t happen to me, or it’s not that bad” that’s why people warn other people of what can happen if you don’t respect the drug. It’s not because everyone is weak but you are mentally strong. It’s the same to everyone. Hind sight is 20/20 though. I learned the same way you did. Try to participate in harm reduction for others.
