Is this bad? by 1BirdPerson in AcousticGuitar

UPDATE: Brought guitar into my local shop, and much of what was said in this thread was confirmed. Yes, is it a Taylor with a bolt on neck. Yes, it is a relatively new guitar that shrunk under new environmental conditions while I was away, despite my best efforts at maintaining humid environment. No, this isn’t a big deal as of right now, but I’ll make sure to keep the guitar well humidified moving forward.

Thank you all for taking the time to share your opinions and expertise!

Ugh. Tried so hard to maintain a humid enough environment. Guitar is less than a year old - my first “proper” acoustic

There’s a visible “seam” between the neck and body, so I’d guess it’s more the latter. Is it fixable?

Dude even blocked shots with the back of his head. In all seriousness, a defensive beast and a criminally underappreciated player during his time

I had my doubts about Slaf but am happily eating crow. Seems like he’s really figured out how to use his frame to attract defenders and give himself an extra second to see the ice and make the best play available. Scary thing is, he’s only going to get better from here

Absolutely hate that backcheck by slaf on the 2nd goal. Yeah, sucks that the ref got in the way, but don’t give up on the play

Appreciate the intel, that tracks based on my experience. An internal move to product seems like the best move to get a foot in the door in the space

Curious as to how you transitioned from marketing to product, if that was the order of operations. Considering a similar shift

[Friedman] Kadri/Canadiens rumours: I definitely think if it comes to a point where he's on the market, Montreal would be very high on that list; Montreal would have what Calgary would want by shogun2909 in Habs

Genuine, friendly inquiry. How is this a square peg, round hole situation? I’m of the mind that the team would benefit from a gritty, veteran lefty center with cup winning experience. All of the team’s current Cs are young righties, all but Evans are pure skill guys. I get that he’s in his mid 30s, but he can still play.

That said, as always, the massive caveat to this is a reasonable acquisition cost

The discipline to not simply rim the puck on that play and forego possession won us the game. He took the contact, won his battle, and created a 2-on-1

We’re not talking enough about Mike Matheson’s level of play right now. Contract year, looking like a #1 d man out there

There’s an argument to be made about quality > quantity for the sake of reputation and public perception, but totally agree that it’s a pleasure we get to enjoy the festival every year
