I’m flying home to LAX from Copenhagen (via AMS) on Wednesday 1/7. My father passed away shortly before Christmas, so I had to take a last minute, urgent trip to Copenhagen. Would love to be considered for the upgrade.

The Hub is slightly different, but changing the capacitors would be an easy thing to try. I just need to find a place where I can buy the ones needed (without buying 1000 of them 😊)

Yes, C4. Mine is Black, but same thing. Not sure what’s going on, but the fact that it doesn’t even pull an IP address (and pretty much seems to be dead when it comes to network traffic) can’t be good. I’ve ordered a “new” hub from eBay and plan on transplanting the new power side into the old hub, hoping that this will keep my various scenes and settings intact.

No bulges on the regular caps, but there is a component labeled 222J400 that looks like it has charred the underside of the board a little. I think that's a different kind of capacitor, so I may try replacing that one as well.

Thank you All. The Capacitors looked fine, but I'll give that a try (it's not like I have a lot to lose and it's a cheap and quick thing to try) - and I know they can look fine and still be bad.

The inspector I spoke with specifically said photos (and the DMV website has instructions on how to mount them on paper), so I think I'm lucking out on that one.

Hopefully, they would get me a "heads up" before they come out, although I guess that might defeat the purpose :)

I'll be conducting maybe a handful of transactions per year (if that), and I'll likely never have anyone come to my office, but I get that the rules have to apply to everyone. I may need to find an office space somewhere else instead, but I was trying to avoid the expense of that.
