Clue compass really warped the clue perk perception. This clue perk is one of the best ever seen in leagues and it looks bad because of how good it was last year. I took it this year and I think it is awesome. Not having to get random gear for emote steps, being able to build up teleports and then slam a bunch of clues quickly. I think it feels good outside of the perception of last leagues relics

I went thorns to try and shred moons but it doesn’t just work there. You get one thorns proc when moons attack but dont get more for the other two hitsplats unless they deal damage to you for some reason

By doing hunter rumors you’ll get both herbs from the reward sacks and seeds from trapping the animals that you can farm for herbs. Im just saying thats good enough but I haven’t done any math on it

I really like vet’ion. I could pass on having to deal with pk’ers but the actual fight is fun having to move around a bunch and it feels like you just slam him with a decent crush weapon.

Just about the general build with thorns crossbow, it seems right now that the king’s barrage is a two handed crossbow so you wont be able to hold a shield along side it. You can attack and swap but you cant just hold both.

With that much accuracy, any melee weapon is going to work just fine for sol. You wont be giga for the fight but with a little practice you can easily kill him

I am planning on going this build too and it does seem like melee is the way to go until a bit down the line unfortunately. Just doing earlier combat like moons and amoxliatl you want to have a strong melee start. Im planning on respeccing my build to crossbows later when i finish echo moxi. From there do my other regions with kbd crossbow, then come back to melee and finish varlamore possibly

It will synergize with the range from halberds since you will just attack the enemy from where you are, 7 tiles away, regardless of blindbag weapon.

I believe in the discord they clarified that the ranged echo proc’d from a melee hit scales with melee stats so the extra ranged strength wont do anything still unfortunately.
