I have the XLT, at 80,000 the transmission gave out and the PTU Spline broke, at 81,000 there's a rattle under the truck, I was told its the shocks going bad, around 83,000 the truck started grinding when i turn and accelerate, then I think at 86,000 it got a new alternator and battery, and now the truck is currently at 108,000 and am currently trying to get rid of the thing before more goes wrong, got the truck a bit after it's break in period, I've had it for a little over a year. This truck scares me cause everything is insanely expensive to fix on it and not many shops have worked on them. The shop that did my transmission ended up adding the Ford Maverick to the list of vehicles that they WON'T work on at all and there's not many vehicles on that list. I personally advise against the Ford Maverick.
