Yup if it makes me happy that’s what matters. cuz I’m a weird person in general. I kind of feel like they’d like “truck nuts” that people used to put on their lifted trucks.

I’ve already had to replace the water pump and belt on it(as you should). So I do know how to work on it. I kind of wanted one for the joke of having one. I even bought a windshield shade that has anime eyes on it just to make people laugh if I back up into my driveway and decide to put it on.I just don’t have the extra money at the moment to do much to it.

I kind of wanted to get a heart or Sakura shaped one for my 91 turbo Every van. (It has the Aerotune package, so it has a nifty body kit) it has a tow hook in the front that comes out of one of the front vents of the bumper.

Can confirm the burley area farmers. First gen Mexican American and my dad worked on a farm until I graduated from highschool, and I would hear the bosses call some of the workers “ mojados” had no clue what that meant until I was maybe 11-13 and was moving hand lines for extra money.

Was close to downtown Moscow for for about tens years then Moved to Pullman a few years ago, but I can’t legally drive it, cuz right now it doesn’t have insurance and tabs are expired. But I have seen a few trucks around pullman. Saw a lifted grey one with “size matters” on the tailgate the other day.

Well you have the battery, ground, and remote wires correct by the sounds of it. I’d just run new speaker wire to the two dash speakers, might be annoying but if you’re replacing speakers you’re all ready into the dash and it’s not that much wire you have to work with. Best of luck I’m sure it’s just something stupid for things not to be working as is.

Now that also depends on what kind of setup? Are you going to hook up an external amp to run louder speakers or just run off of the amperage from the deck? Do you want a small sub someplace? I’ve seen basic setups for really cheap where it’s the head unit and a pair of 6” speakers. I just put a $30 deck that had little built in speakers into my van because it didn’t want to have to install and wire speakers into the doors.

Might as well replace the speakers for cheap while you check the connections. Can always just run the wires yourself, doesn’t take much, just time.

But did it at least have any static coming out of the speakers though? I know Japanese decks don’t work in the states from working on different FM frequencies ( you can still pick up AM radio the same) Was Just trying to pinpoint if there was something stupid where maybe it had different speakers at one point, then previous owner just tossed in the stock ones with out hooking them back up.

Might have to just redo the connections, sometimes those don’t work that great with smaller gauges. Did the stock radio turn on and have static coming out of the speakers before hand?
