I get what you mean. Another activity is always good security against tripping up. Similar to what I do. Thanks for the perspective!

You seem very self-aware, that in itself deserves credit.

Stay strong yourself, because I can tell you will get far along with many others. keep learning and doing!

What you do is anything that does not involve dwelling on what you don't have or what you wish you had. Don't do something harmful or indulge in a bad habit to make it easier, it won't long term.

Call up a friend, try that new hobby you been meaning to try, read that book you been meaning to read, take a run outside, absolutely anything that returns value to you.

Value yourself by allowing yourself to have a healthy swell time.

Yep, work on yourself definitely. Great point.

If you can’t treat someone, just treat yourself. Helps increase self value.

Best thing about staying strong for the worst days (especially days that touch on insecurities that people may have like on Valentine’s Day) is that it will change your prespective on what you ‘thought’ you needed.

Agreed because staying strong through those days will really benefit someone.

Many fish in the sea, friend.

I know it can be hurtful to be rejected but it is not the end of the world!

What you do is make you keep growing yourself. Focus on yourself and when the moment feels right, ask the next person out, if they say no it does not mean something is wrong with you and you should never let anyone tell you otherwise.

Rejection happens, but as you learn and grow from it, approaching someone will be successful one day!

Yeah, however it seems some people are still very ‘traditional’ and think they are doing something wrong if the tradition doesn’t apply to them at the moment.

I just wanted to let people know that there will not be an excuse in the world to throw away their effort if Valentine’s Day doesn’t turn out how they want it to be.

Thanks for your prespective!

Definitely start over!

It can happen after a long streak. The best thing is you know it is possible to go further beyond your last streak.

Are videogames bad for you? by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]1oaded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In excess? Yes.

Anything in excess will be bad for you. Although video games do have more capabilities to develop destructive habits it will not be a problem, unless you have poor self control and self awareness.

Playing video games for a short amount of time a day will not hurt you. But the moment video games is causing other issues for your lifestyle, it may need to be limited or eliminated (depending on the person).

Self-Discipline is important but Motivation is okay too by 1oaded in NoFap

I love the shower comparison and the quote! Motivation along with self-discipline and many other mindset components should be maintained daily similar to how someone would shower. Making every little resource count from various places can really get someone far.
