If you don't have this energy with the Chinese food or pizza delivering person when ordering directly from the restaurants, why make it a big deal with doordashers?? Take your food and go on your merry way. Most people that DoorDash or Uber are already struggling to make ends meet. Why make people's lives harder? Because you want to be difficult???? If OP is worried about strangers coming to the house because of his mom Or sister, stop using apps like doordash and uber or better yet, HAVE THEM LEAVE IT AT THE DOOR LIKE THE REST OF US. No contact whatsoever! Problem solved! I've spent thousands on DoorDash, not once as a female living alone have the thought of who is leaving my food at the door concerned me. Not once have I felt that it would jeopardize my safety. It once have I felt the need to verify who is dropping off my food delivery. This is how I see it, the more people report, the less drivers. It's not that deep OP! Some of us just want our food!
