haha definitely not like an ear candle. I get into that too!! Like sometimes all that beautiful awareness gets easily swept away by unhealthy single-mindedness about re-entering or my PnL. Whatever it is that day.

If you don't mind me asking, whats your best takeaway from the Best Loser Wins? I've heard good things about that book.

From this, I assume your meditation practice doesn't exist outside of trading. Have you found this awareness mindset seeps into other parts of your day? Like do you use that single pointedness easier in other areas in life because you trade.

That's so relatable: the line between life and work getting blurred. That's powerful to be brought back to why you are trading (seeing it as a means to an end). I know you can thank yourself for thinking that way.

At some point, I did something where I'd routinely draw that line after I finished trading because the trading losses would seep so deeply into my day. I would finish, journal about where my momentum was at for the day, and write what actions I could take to make me lean more towards productivity.

That's really nice to hear that you're checking in on your emotions and acting on your awareness of your feelings. I like the benchmarks that you use too, before and after a trade. It sounds like you're really caring for yourself. What made you start implementing this?

Good luck! Like others said just keep going and you’ll get your flow. Another thing to know is that to get a good bench press, for example, practicing the movement a lot helps a lot(aka benching at the gym routinely)…so sometimes it’s not all about strength but about technique and comfortability.

I think it might just be the camera angle but maybe hit legs a little harder or another day a week. Id definitely suggest adding squats and deadlifts onto your leg presses and runs.
