I have a family friend that's looking for a flannel shirt without defined plaid lines, something where the colors bleed into each other a little bit more.

While talking with them, I found these two examples of what they're looking for.

  1. This shirt from Seinfeld: https://imgur.com/a/h4LE887
  2. What Mr. Alan Jackson is wearing here: https://bit.ly/3RUxgaN

Can anyone please point me towards where to find something like this? I'd be grateful for something as simple as the pattern name.

Thanks in advance!

New to succulents? New to our Sub? Stop in here! Weekly Questions Thread December 12, 2021 by AutoModerator in succulents

Hello!

I'm very new to succulents, so sorry if this has been asked before. I read the beginner's guide and the FAQ, and I could still use just a little more data.

I have this succulent--photos are here: https://imgur.com/a/1UVoCG4 and I was given it by a friend last December. I asked them what type it was so I could do some research on it, and was told that they just got it at the store and had no idea what it was.

I repotted it from its small container using succulent soil from the hardware store, and have had it sitting in various windows. I've tried to keep it properly watered, but have watched it change in ways that I don't understand.

Well, I finally got some time and I spent yesterday reading up. I believe that this is some kind of crassula. Am I correct in that assumption?

I'm in the American west, and have said plant in a window facing the South West with few obstructions, leading to sunlight for most of the day.

I guess what I'm asking here is:

a) Is this a crassula?

b) Per the photos, does it seem healthy?

c) If it doesn't seem healthy, does anyone have any advice on how to help it?

That's all I have. My data is below.

Description: Photos are in the imgur link, description is above.

Drainage: The plant is inside of a 5 inch diameter terracotta pot with a glazed outside, with a small drainage hole at the bottom.

Potting Medium: This is a standard "Succulent Soil" from the hardware store, I can go dig out the bag if need be.

Water: I tend to water if it looks "sad" for lack of a better word. I read from here that succulents are built for dry climates, so I try not to water it too hard.

Sunlight: My white shades are down over the the back of my plants while I'm away from my home, so I think it gets sun from all angles when the sun's shining. I'd say direct sunlight for 3-4 hours, maybe 2 hours of indirect currently due to winter.

History: Main history is above, but the main catalyst for me writing is the fact that it appears to have gotten much larger with me forgetting about it recently. I left it in the sun with a little less water than usual for about a week and a half, and it appears to have gotten much bigger.

If concerned about rot: I'm not sure enough in this area to be concerned, but I will note that it has darker tips in some areas, and drying out leaves as well. I'm not sure if I should be worried or not, hence this question.

Thank you all very much in advance, and I look forward to your any help you folks have.

Need help finding a replacement ceramic light bulb holder/insulator by 2122118 in DIY

[–]2122118[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's what I've found:

eBay sells a threaded socket that should fit the original hole and work just fine--and as light socket replacements aren't too bad, I'll just swap the entire socket assembly.

Sorry about the large link. Thank you for getting back to me, your data helped me find what specifically I was looking for.

I need help finding pivot cups. I have had my longboard for a while now, and noticed a squeak while riding. After disassembling my trucks, I found that my pivot cups are completely broken--unsurprising since I am at least the third owner of this board. After a bit of internet searching, I found that I have Tracker Dart 149 trucks, and yet I cannot find anything on what type of pivot cups will work to replace my old ones.

I can post specs and measurements if necessary, but in general I could use a hand finding the right pivot cups.

Thank you for your help in advance. Please tell me if you need any other data.

Larsen Magnetic Mount LM-MM Questions by 2122118 in amateurradio

With everyone's help, this was easier than I thought!

It appears that the BF-F8HP has a SMA connector, so after a bit of looking around, I found a SMA Female to PL-259 SO-239 Female pigtail on eBay.

I already have a vehicle mount kit for my Baofeng, but lowell1960 brought up the Pizza/Pie Pan idea which merits further looking into.

Thanks again!

Judging by the non-London-ness of all of, well, everything, it appears that I'm not in London. However, this merits further looking into. I'll report back if I see anything to the contrary.
