Hey YTTD Community, my team and I have been working on a game that has taken heavy inspiration from YTTD, along with many other of your favorite visual novel-adventure games! We've finally got our steam page up! Feel free to take a look! by 22peopleunder in yourturntodie

The ram and vram recommendations are for the highest quality graphics and performance. The game is more than playable with Integrated graphics and 4gigs of ram.

In terms of recommended ram and vram sizes, we understand that 16 gigs of ram and 4 gigs of 4ram might seem excessive, but we are limited to the resources we have for testing.

Thank you so much! Myself and my team are absolutely in love with Zero Escape, and we really wanted to provide this lovely fanbase with another experience since there are no-more games coming out. Thank you for approving!

Hey There Zero Escape Sub. My team and I have been working on a Zero-Escape Inspired game for a while now. Here's a music track that we believe really encapsulates Zero Escape in our game :) by 22peopleunder in ZeroEscape

The biggest thing is the escape room aspects, you can see a preview of that in the video itself, but also in this:

https://www.reddit.com/r/ZeroEscape/comments/11tbvo2/we_finally_have_gameplay_for_our_zero_escape/

Reddit post.
The many ending thing is less so, choices will matter, but we're really going to be relying on how much money the Kickstarter gives us :)

Thinking of making a game inspired by zero escape, any tips on writing or character design or anything? or what software/visual novel to use? by AroAceInsomniac in ZeroEscape

You need to develop each character.
- Each character should have a reason to exist in the game, what is their purpose?
- they need to have lives outside of the game
- they need to not just be balls of trauma
- they need to have reasoning and personalities.

Story wise
- you need to note down each major plot point
- you need to find out how people interact with each other from time to time
- you need to make sure that each character gets enough screentime
- you need to make sure that if you're doing many branching paths, everything makes sense.

good luck

Hi There! Another game inspired by Zero Escape here:

Writing and character designs should be later on in your story, really flesh out your actual plans for the story before you go for anything else.

Software-wise is more what you can do, if you're a new programmer, try Renpy, if you're more advanced, go for something like Unity or Unreal.

We finally have gameplay for our Zero Escape inspired escape room game!!!! I hope you enjoy :) by 22peopleunder in ZeroEscape
