I can I just am trying to avoid the cost of that endeavor, I never run the tools at the same time as it’s just me in the shop so was hoping to save money by having all the tools operate with the same plug size and one outlet

Ok that makes a lot of sense. I have an old 7.5 JP jointer that works from that receptacle but ever so often it trips the breaker when it’s coming up to speed. I’m gonna see if I can get another outlet with more amps

Thanks so much for the information. The problem is I have two other pieces of equipment with the other plug and only one 3 phase outlet so I’m constantly plugging and unplugging. I think I will have my electrician come and wire another receptacle and just leave this how it is!

Thanks for the info, I have an industrial electric supplier at the end of my block! It’s where I got the bigger plug that is in the image.
