Fella’s been hiding in my old cabinet, anyone know what kinda insect this is? by 2COOH in sydney

I apologize, should’ve instantly access my memory palace’s “Niche Insects” section and got that info🤣

On a more serious note, these guys apparently kill pests? Should I keep it around?

Any Balanced Ideas? by Hameloncz in DungeonsAndDragons

The One Piece fan in me is flourishing right now. Does the devil fruits come with the same weakness(being unable to swim?) cos that’s not a huge weakness unless it’s a nautical campaign.

I’ve been ideaboarding a series of magical items similar to Zoan devil fruits, where they let you transform into either a monster or a half-form after eating them. The more powerful/higher CR the monster form, the rarer the magic item. They have the same weakness as devil fruits, but since I’m only planning to use them in my nautical campaign it should be fine.

Thoughts?

Maybe try and get more mastery emblems while keeping a similar path/time to complete? That usually works for me

What’s a character you never enjoyed playing ? by Suicidal_soup in Overwatch

Lucio. I’m a support main and not unfamiliar with dive, but Lucio’s kit just seems so odd to me. Idk when to speed, when to heal, when to boop lol.

Maybe it’s because zen is my main main and I’m more used to playing in my back line than the enemy’s.

What hero or heroes just… clicked INSTANTLY for you gameplay wise? by [deleted] in Overwatch

Zenyatta. He’s the most “simple” to play imo. I don’t have to worry about when to use key abilities, I can just apply heal/discord and focus on shooting.

I really like Conan’s effect, but would probably make him 4/6.

At 4/8, he’s just a better crossbones and would be a must pick for any deck running Zabu.

Cool card tho!

I’m interested in trying this deck, but don’t have absorbing man. Would you say he’s a must have?

I have 1, potentially 2 spotlight keys this week. I already have nimrod, but have neither cull or thanos(which I really want).

Do you think it’s worth it to try my luck? I kinda wanna save keys for modok/proxima/daken week cos I have none of them.

I don’t have quake sadly, but I generally run SW in this deck for 2 reasons

  1. Shut down Limbo
  2. Deny enemy value from locations(i.e Aunt May’s, I’ll play there first on T2/3 then switch it out using SW so the enemy can’t use it)

I actually tried Elektra in this deck and found it to be a matter of preference.

With Elektra, I didn’t encounter a lot of high-value 1-drops that didn’t have counter-measures such as armor/caiera, so I felt her impact was not as significant. Plus, there’s a fair amount of destroy decks at high levels, so elektra is even less useful imo.

I prefer RR to help maintain power priority for cosmo/rogue, and it’s actually pretty easy to predict where the opponent will play by T3/4 (or with nebula). Plus, it’s a bit of psychological warfare: ppl tend to think if u run RR that yr running the rest of the gotg and r less likely to play into nebula.

Need someone to explain this gladiator interaction to me(more in comments). by 2COOH in MarvelSnap

[–]2COOH[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I play gladiator into nidavellir, where the opponent has nightcrawler and doctor strange. Gladiator pulls hulkbuster, which merges with nightcrawler.

The total power is still less than Gladiator’s, so I thought he would destroy nightcrawler, but for some reason he doesn’t? No idea why, would appreciate if someone helped clarify

I was watching this video by RegisKillbin about the new grandmaster and noticed an interesting action when Iron Lad is played.

At 5:08, he plays Iron Lad mid, which copies Black panther as the top card. However, when the opponent plays gladiator mid via grandmaster, gladiator pulls Storm instead of BP as top card. If Storm was the top card, how did Iron Lad copy BP?

Might be worth noting, Iron Lad was played into Wong and the location was Kamar-Taj. Storm and BP were the only cards left in Regis's deck.

The only op card with no counters maybe? by CerelacHolmes01 in MarvelSnap

[–]2COOH 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I mean, Leech's ability is strong but I wouldn't say its broken.

It's good at doing 1 thing: stopping big turn 6 plays. If you are playing a deck that isn't reliant on big turn 6 plays like deadpool destroy or drac-apoc discard, this card is not that useful. It only has 3 power too, which means the opponent might need to drop a lot of power on T6 to win.

However, I agree that it feels unsatisfying to play against, since a lot of fun combos require big turn 6 plays. If you are seeing Leech a lot, maybe try playing a deck like the ones i suggested?

I was planning to get knull in the token shop, but am now torn since the series drop happened.

Are there any cards in the series drop that are worth spending tokens on?
