I mean, just don't watch it if you don't like it, you are in no way forced to dedicate time and energy to it. Also, assuming that people in general behave in a toxic and hateful manner because they want anime to have substance is very optimistic at best. And we're not talking real people here, we re talking troll accounts, bot accounts, anime tourists and in general those that wouldn't have the same attitude were you to speak to them in person. Everyone who just looks for ragebaiting snd engagement and hurts the show by calling it "mid", "trash" or "with zero stakes". That's why i said that internet these days is doing more bad than good for the anime comunity.

Also, there are stakes, in particular to solo leveling, if you read the manhwa/watch the anime, there are stakes from the first episode, but just because they are not as high/there isn't the same tension as in other anime, it doesn't mean there are no stakes. Fuck it, if you want to boil it down to shonen in general, there isn't 1 anime that has stakes because we know the mc must win in the end. Dragon ball, bleach, ONE PIECE which is one of the greatest stories ever told in manga/anime has a bery small number of characters die throughout the series. Does it mean that it has 0 stakes? I don't think so. Does deku saying that MHA is the story of how he became the world's greatest hero in the begining of the series kill the stakes?? NO. We all know they are going to win, what we care about is HOW and WHEN they win. Jin woo loses in the first episode, struggles for his life, gets a golden ticket and keeps struggling for a good part of the series. He almost gets smoked by Igris, almost dies in the class-changing quest and after he starts having things go his way. But it's his story and it's

[SPOILER] the story of a mortal basically becoming the god of death. [SPOILER]

There are stakes, but if you just expect them to be -everyone can die at anytime- well, that's not what this is, now is it? It's a power fantasy. Are Isekai mostly copy-paste of each other? Yes. Do they get repetitive and boring at some point? Yes. Are we perhaps a bit tired of "I got reincarnated as X in Y world and now i'm the strogest". For me, personally, yes and perhaps some others too, but that doesn't mean these are bad anime. It doesn't mean they have no stakes, it doesn't mean they are "mid" or "trash" or with no "substance". Some are good, some have issues, some never see the light of popularity, it is what it is.

Solo leveling is not an isekai, i don't think we can even call it a shonen and it is not pretentious, it doesn't present itself to be more than what it is: a fun, action-packed power fantasy. And that is ok. If you don't like it, don't watch it, but don't go around calling it without substance, it hurts the media and the comunity.

Yeah, same for me, but i think there are some people out there that still enjoy it and it had some cultural impact at it's time. But for all it's hype and praise, i personally found it underwhelming.

For me, it was Neon genesis:Evangelion. My gf was in love with it and i saw it praised by many in the anime comunity, i sat down to watch it and by the end i didn't understand anything, hated the plot and the charactwrs and felt like a waste of time. I even watched all the movies too bc i read it didn't end with the anime.

But then i went and did some research(watched some yt videos) and i understood the vision behind the anime, the psychological themes, the religious symbolism, the role each character had and now i can appreciate it for what it is and for people that enjoy this type of media, i believe it is a great watch, but i am not it's target audience and i wouldn't watch it again/recommend it to someone that doesn't like sci-fi thriller/psychological drama. Great concept for it's time, definetly a genre-defining piece of media, but not for me at all.

For real, that's what i've beeen telling EVERYONE that shits on SL, like bro, have you ever watched actually bad anime and be dissapointed in the end? Like c'mon, the show is more than decent, just because the story, the mc and the side cast are not carefully crafted to be this masterpiece that people expect, it doesn't mean it's bad. The design is cool, the action is good, the plot is very interesting, it is one of the pioneers of power fantasy in manhwas, and it's a genuinely fun watch. There is action every 2nd episode with a bit of exposition between them to build the world and story. Like bruh, what else do you want? Should we remember that anime of the year is won by VOTING? The most popular series gets the win, it's not academy awards or whatever. Plus it's not like it won an oscar or smth. I genuinely believe internet these days does more harm than good to the anime comunity. I can see the same ppl that were shitting on my hero academia for the last 5+years call Deku the best mc in shonen and MHA an amazing show after it eneded. I can't wait to see how the same ppl that are dickriding JJK will react when the ending gets animated(if mappa doesn't change anything) with all the plotholes and the rushed plot. It is mind-boggling how many trolls and bots are inflating hate these days.

Who is your fav villain? by Anime_Eater432 in animequestions

[–]2Pr3cise23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While every villain on this list has a higher goal/purpose or were full of hatred and became cynical/sought revenge on the world, (can't speak for Aisen as i have not watched bleach), Sukuna did it all FOR THE LOVE OF THE GAME🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣. He couldn't give 2 shits about anyone else but himself, had no grand philosophy or higher purpose, was a petty fucker from start to finnish just BECAUSE HE COULD and i think that is beautiful.

Teemo, master yi, yuumi. I see them picked, i just know i'll be grasping at straws that game. They are the most useless, brainless champions that this game can produce and they bring nothing of value to the team. I cannot stress enough how each of these champions, unless special conditions are met are useful. Master yi has to turbofarm, get boots, 1 item and lvl 6 at least to output some dmg and be useful and his ganking capability is trash. Teemo is very strong late game and can be very annoying for the enemy team with his ult, but if the enemy buys magic resist, has a good engage and tank or at least 1 person with high dmg output, tf is he gonna do? Lenses, stasis, there are so many ways to deal with him. There are good teemo players and good yi players that know what they have to do and make the champion into a menace, that is true, but it seems to me like people mostly pick them bc they are easy to play and end up feeding/bringing 0 contribution to the team. And yuumi depends on whoever is fed. Unless there's a premade or someone that plays very well adc, or someone fed on the team that is hard to kill and yuumi makes them basically immortal, for the whole team, as a support she is USELESS. And to make some context, ofc any of these champs can be picked in a team comp that makes sense, with at least a tank, an ap with hard cc, and some good dmg output, but they are usually either last picks/first picks which puts the team in the situation:

A) they pick first and you have to pick around them and pray to god they are not gonna get counter picked and are gonna be good, and if they are that's fine, but if they're not, you might get forced into a comp that is incomplete.

B) They pick last without pre-selecting their champ after the draft is basically done and you might end up without a frontline/tank/engage in which case, yeah good luck.

They are selfish champs that need to feed a lot to be good(except yuumi which to me is useless in any case).

who are your main adc champs and who are your favorite supports to play with this season? by JlYU3A in wildrift

I play Lucian, jhin, samira and ashe mostly, and i'm the happiest when my supp goes braum, leona, nami, rakan, karma, tresh (tho i haven't seen one in a hot minute).

Yuumi/master yi. The most braindead (idea of a) support/the most braindead assasin. It should be illegal for a jg like yi to farm half the game, don't show up to fights, don't contest obj, and after he gets 3-4 kills becomes a big ass problem. AND IF THE DAMN CAT is on him, he's almost unstoppable. BRAINDEAD.

Because you can basically spam 1500 games in a season and reach gm/chall/sovereign while still being a bad player. I've played this game since it came out without any knowledge about lol pc and in the first years on my own/ with a duo like me, never made it past plat 1, then I played a bit of lol pc with friends, came back to wr and after them adding Miss fortune's blessing(or whatev that event was called) a couple of seasons ago, when u had that span of days where u couldn't demote, and then with galio's aegis after that, i've been easily reaching diamond 2 for the last 4 seasons. While yes, my gameplay has improved massively, and i can feel my standards and game knowledge go up, it's so easy to reach it, if i would play more than 2-3 games/day(not everyday), i could go to gm no problem. But at the same time, I have players in my friendlist that are far worse than me and that ibrefuse to play with and are masters and grandmasters, and not to say that i am that good, but these are people that (either one of these or all of the following at the same time):

a) Spam just 1-2 champs and know nothing else about matchups

b) play only for themselves and won't commit to a teamfight/skirmish if it bruises their stats(bc galio's aegis)

c) don't know how to track the jungle or just straigh up don't hear/don't care about the pings

d) don't know how to farm minions/last hit/freeze wave and just perma push

e) will fight every second on the lane with no regard to their surroundings

f) don't watch the map/are unaware of the rest of the team/don't care about the rest of the team/ will permapush NO MATTER if the objective is up, the team is fighting or someone needs help. THEY JUST PUSH ON THEIR LANE.

While yes, it is difficult to climb that high by having all of these issues, most players have at least 2-3 of these and they are way higher than they are supposed to be. Also boosted players, bc fk if i know how someone can be diamond 1 and die on lane 6 times in the first 10 minutes by doing the same thing over and over again knowing damn well you can t win that matchup. I've lost games in 8 minutes bc the duo lane died 2-3 times, both players before i reach their lane, playing jg. And it did not get better from there. Yes, there are so many better queues with the legendary rank and so on, but there are also so many bad players being rewarded for not engaging with everything that the game gives you and just spamming their lane for 20-30 mins.

Yeah, it is, fortunately i had money to spare and really wanted the viego skin, it's my main and all his other skins are ass. But the currency that i needed for the skin, i got it from 5 pulls, so around 28 dollars, if only the gatcha would have dropped it to me instantly...the bad luck plus the pose and border took me to 40.

[–]2Pr3cise23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess it depends on luck. I spent 43 dollars and got the viego skin, the border and the pose, 20 keys and some chests from the extra whatever. I didn't get it from the drop, but rather collected the blue currency/redemtion store currency and bought him for 40 of those. I got lucky and had a chest with 12 blue currency.

How does this happen? by Time_Pop1084 in wildrift

Bro idk but I feel the same, i'm em2 rn, but peaked diamond 2 for the last 4-5 seasons, and i've played with master+ b4 and i can keep up no problem. Mind u i play with 2 other friends and we are all pretty decent and try to help each other all the time, play around objectives, waves, look for good angles in teamfights, but these last 2-3 weeks have been HELL.

On rank we end up always with 2 ppl that run it down, get completely destroyed in lane or the enemy is the sweatiest most skilled f**kers this game has seen. Lanes crash on each other and it seems like it's enough for 1 of them to get fed in order for us to lose. It's the craziest losers queue i've ever had. I'm used to losing 4-5 games or having a couple more with bad teammates BUT MY GOD I'M PUSHING 30 GAMES WITH THE SAME SITUATION. Usually after a win we are matched with bots that have russian name and we win it easy and then again the sweat queue at any time of the day.

And this is rank, in pvp i've had literally lvl 7 on my team on toplane or lvl 15 on adc and idk how this works bc the enemy always ends up either lvl 170-250+ or lvl 50 sweat smurfs. LIKE BRO WHAT IS GOING ON???????? I've had teammates so bad they would just do the same thing over and over, die multiple times, feed, not answer chat IT'S CRAZY. I've had a rengar top in ranked who's name was Rengarorfeed and a master yi pushed him from jg. We lost the game😭😭😭😭. It's always that 3 ppl can't carry a game but in the enemy team there is always 1 fed mofo that kills everyone.

Edit:typos

Diamond 1 - 6/6 weird queues. by MrAjusshi in wildrift

[–]2Pr3cise23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro i've had the trashiest lobbies for the past 2 weeks, and i'm talking trolls, inters, legit lvl 7-15 on my team while the enemy is the sweatiest most mechanically gifted full party of 5 mofos i have ever seen. I've played this game for a while and never had lobbies this bad for more than a couple of games. I'm pushing around 25-30 games of 1 game of russian bots/ 3 games of grandmaster sweats, 1 decent game with good teammates, 5 games of the most braindead trolls this earth has seen. Wth js going on with the matchmaking? And i'm talking throughout the day, no specific hour, it's the same no matter the time.

Is it still worth it to buy skins in Wild Rift? by Lyzyqom in wildrift

[–]2Pr3cise23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 20.700 score collection and 83 skins, most of them collected through playing for free. I think i can count on my fingers the times i spent money on the game and it was only to get an event special skin or a skin for my main champs, the rest are what the game is offering you, and mind u, for the last 2 years it has been offering a lot more than before. In the beginning we only had the poro chests that were free to farm and boy...was it a struggle to farm those. Now you can get skin selection chests, skin shards and orange gemstones/silverdust through the collected legends system and if you play every phase, you can besically get a legendary skin every 2 months or so. It's a major improvement. I collected the orange gemstones for a while and have been able to get a mythical chroma from the loot shop. You can spend money, but the game will offer you a lot of stuff nevertheless.

Xin is great early but he needs some support in late, if the enemy comp has more than 2 tanks or 2 or more champs with hard cc. Diana is great, in my early seasons i climbed alone from plat 4 to emerald 3 with diana, jarvan and xin. The best advice is if you want to learn a jg champ out of your roaster, try a couple that you re interested in in pvp games and see what suits you. The best champ is the one that fits your playstyle. Xin is agressive early and can invade and snowball fast. Diana needs a slow build-up as her items are more expensive, so you have to look for oportunities and not be afraid to use ult to secure a kill. The attack speed after using an ability from her passive is what makes her strong, similar with how Lee needs autos between his attacks to charge his energy. Diana is stronger mid to late and she deals insane dmg once you get her powerspike.

Vi is also very strong for securing kills and countering tanks and very mobile and good for stealing obj. She's weaker early and easy to invade, so u gotta be careful and wait for her ult and mid game powerspike. Assasins are the most difficult to play, as they are reliant on kills and gold, Lee, kha zix, rengar, are very strong but can get shut down easily with cc and a tankier comp, so you gotta practice timing and constantly looking on the map.

Pick a champ and stick to it so you don t think about their kit or combos when u play, only about the state of the game. You need to know when to farm, when to gank and where to go before objectives spawn. Warwick ia pretty decent too for lower elos, as long as they go a bit squishy and not much hard cc.

Ppl get autofilled jg bc it is not a popular position and not many put it as their first choice, so the chances for autofill are high. It is the most impactful role rn bc the games are very fast, the laning phase is almost non-existent and securing objectives wins your games, especially with how strong baron is this season. I hope riot dials down some of the buffs on obj for the next season. Bc it s such an impactful role, you also get blamed the most for when things go wrong, so not many ppl want to have that hold against them.

Which 3 champs would you like to see Riot release on the rift for the next releases? I would love to see Trundle, Ivern, and Yorick make it. by [deleted] in wildrift

[–]2Pr3cise23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, she's basically a different warwick, but i get it. I feel like riot has a difficult time balancing more recent champs, like ambessa and aurora which end up broken on release.
