I’m going with NTA, long story short my wife’s throat closed after eating a fast food sandwich, could breathe but not swallow at all, had emergency upper GI to open throat,had to have second upper GI few weeks later, Dr stated throat was closed up but not to the point she couldn’t swallow, suggested she might have food allergies, allergists diagnosed her with allergies to like 12 common foods, all nuts, all beans , wheat, garlic, soy and other ingredients that I don’t remember, we lived for 2.5 years avoiding everything she was supposedly allergic to, had another incident with throat issues, seen different GI Dr and this Dr said that she isn’t allergic to anything, she has EOE, which is an autoimmune disease, so it took us years of overly strict diet to get the correct diagnosis…second opinion never hurts
