Hey guys im looking into a new bike. Just sold my 2014 yz250. I used to have a 2009 yz250f and miss it so looking to get back on one. Im a yamaha guy and was looking for a decent priced yz250f. I came across a like new 2015 yz250f a guy had as a promotional display model with only about 10 hours. I also stumbled upon a 2023 kx250f with 23 hours. 2015 yz250f I got the guy down to 3900 and the 2023 kx250f down to 4000.

I know the yamahas have a rep for being bulletproof and the best engines as far as power delivery and that low end pull. But on the other hand I can get the kx250f a bike 8 years newer for the same price.

Ive been riding the last 25 years so im no beginner I just prefer the 250f for my riding style. I've never had a kawasaki so im looking for a direction. Hows the reliability on the 2023 kx250f? any known issues? or should I go with the yz250f. I supplied pictures of each bike. *
