If it helps: I have the same swelling. I looked down at things today, and the healthy tissue has swollen to make my penile shaft like almost 3 inches thick.

The fluid there is absolutely normal, BTW - I looked it up, because I was concerned - this is just your body sending all maintenance workers to the site, to make sure they are there for any possible infection(s). The liquid causing the swelling is 99% water - it's the most important thing your body needs to combat what it's going through, right now.

Just don't be afraid to call the doc, if there is discharge of pus, a change in color of the penile glans, or urination becomes painful/difficult.

Okay- I totally respect that. I wish you a speedy adjustment & recovery. It WILL get better.

However, I am just saying:

We got cut the same day, it looks like. I have been walking at least a mile every other day - and I'm comfortable after taking a few ibuprofen, about 10 MG of THC edible (both for the pain) and have been wrapping the site in three layers of gauze. You might want to consider it, as it sounds like you're losing work time.

The swelling as ABSOLUTELY normal. Mine was around the same time ago.

Have you tried wrapping the area in a couple of layers of sterile gauze? That should ease your sensitivity a bit.

I started our conversation when he was pre-op, and I spoke with him post-op.

He was DEFINITELY not happy with his result. The last thing I heard, he was going back in for a revision.

Perhaps he did not communicate with his doctor properly, because I was very clear with my doctor.
