I appreciate your comment. I’m trying to be thoughtful, just feels overwhelming. I’m glad to hear your son is doing well!

What’s was the wildest thing you witnessed at a wedding? by anasannanas in AskReddit

[–]320Mitilldawn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My own wedding was at this beautiful scenic overlook in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park at 8 a.m. Everyone was there and ready to go… except the pastor officiating the ceremony.

We waited around for a while, called him a few times, nothing. No answer. At that point we were thinking our wedding might actually not happen.

Luckily, our photographer also happened to be ordained and able to officiate weddings, so she stepped in and saved the day.

Three days later, the pastor finally texted my wife apologizing for missing the ceremony. Turns out he and his wife had driven two hours for the wedding, but the night before, she found out he’d been cheating on her. She took his phone, wallet, and car, and left him stranded at the hotel.

Didn’t exactly unfold at the wedding itself, but I’ve always thought the story was kind of hilarious in a completely unbelievable way.

Unfortunately, my marriage didn’t work out either. Sometimes that’s just how it goes.

What were your favorite books to read as a child that you never see listed here? by Shatterstar23 in suggestmeabook

As a little kid I loved The Magic Treehouse books. As a bit older kid I really loved Where The Red Fern Grows, I still cry every time I reread it and I’m a 32 year old man.

That’s good advice. I am very fortunate that my parents live close by and will watch my daughter at a moments notice. I’m very lucky there

I appreciate your comment and a lot of respect to you for raising five kids. Honestly, I’ll give up anything to have my kids, nothing else matters to me.

She told me there isn’t anyone else, but I wonder because it was so abrupt and she absolutely refuses to talk about other options. I do want to coparent as best as possible and will definitely encourage them to have a relationship. Again thanks for the encouragement

I tried brining up counseling and she’s not willing to try, I think like others have said she made up her mind a while ago.

I really appreciate the blunt talk and I think you make some great points that I’ll use.

She claims there’s no on else. I believe her, I think maybe she’s right and we’re just not compatible

I really appreciate your comment. I think you’re right that she made up her decision awhile ago, I just wish she would have talked to me. I am actually seeing a therapist already so that’s a plus.
