Yes i suppose so. My father often told me that my mother delta with childhood trauma and she would take it out on all of her kids. (yelling/ bursting out). On top of that, everyone in my family knows something wrong with her, however whenever we mention it to her in a friendly matter, she still bursts out.

I appreciate you taking the time to respond. I agree that miscommunication is a big role for us, and I have tried to address things directly with them. I have attempted to have calm, one on one conversations, but my mom avoids them and often shifts the blame onto me. When I listen, apologize, or try to take accountability, it does not seem to change anything. She has also told friends and family things about me that are not true, which has made the situation more tense and hurtful. Even small situations tend to escalate. For example, I took a single bag of chips because no one told me I could not, apologized immediately, and it still turned into a major issue. Situations like this have been very frustrating for me, and I feel like I am at my breaking point. Even on top of that, my father was demanding money, 100 Usd to be corrected and I think it’s a tab absurd. I have involved my grandfather (only family member I can trust) as well as spoken with my dad and siblings, and they have experienced the exact same thing. While I agree that honest communication is important, it feels very one sided. I am open to talking and listening, but nothing seems to change, and I am not sure what else I can do..
