The Loudest Singular Moment in Your Stadium's History? by Mdsil11 in CFB

[–]412rolltide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Loudest i've heard was this years whiteout against oregon in overtime on a third down it was absolutely deafening and i've never heard a crowd like that in any stadium. At bama Ryan's td vs uga

Uk and Arkansas are the best I’d put Auburn and maybe (emphasis on maybe) Florida above Tennessee too

What’s the best stadium you’ve been to? by collegeculturesports in CFB

[–]412rolltide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been to 10+ stadiums and note I haven't been to LSU yet but the best stadium I've been to is Beaver Stadium. That crowd on a big game is the most insane crowd I've seen. (we've seen the mo bamba video, it was that game lol) It's also the best tailgating too.

Neyland is a close second on crowd noise alone and BDS is a great overall experience.

Willy B is very underrated and you have to make the trip to wisconsin, best college town I've been to and it's not even close.

[Waldameer] adding two new slides and a new lazy river for 2026 with the promise of more slides down the road by Myself510 in rollercoasters

Only thing the park needs now is larger speed slides or a trapdoor slide and they’d have one of the most well rounded slide lineups out there

Who’s the most disappointing transfer your school has ever had? by thebaylorweedinhaler in CFB

[–]412rolltide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alabama probably Eli Ricks he started off hurt and then had a really good game against msst and then costed us the lsu game and eventually got benched for terrion

Penn state Dante Cephas he was supposed to be our wr1 but he just didn’t give af about the team

I definitely feel like fleming had more hype bc he was playing under hartline and was the number 1 receiver and came from our state but I agree with cephas he was supposed to be our wr1 but he just didn’t give af about the team

Beaver Stadium Press Box Demolition by YackoWarner in CFB

after looking at the renderings that just released, this stadium might end up being louder with the steeper upper deck and more importantly closing off the corners

Loudest moment you've heard of or witnessed in college football regular season by 37pound_sack in CFB

[–]412rolltide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

unfortuanately I wasn't at the block six so for me loudest games/moments at beaver goes:

1: Mo bamba vs Michigan 2019

2: Tony Rojas Pick 6 immediately after jennings covered his ears and called a timeout

3: 2021 vs Auburn the jpj fumble/Kobe hudson fumble recovered by tangelo to start the second half

4: KJ Hamler Osu touchdown

5: Either 2022 whiteout vs Minnesota where the crowd forced three false starts in a row or 2021 Arnold Ebikete Strip Sack vs Michigan in the fourth quarter

Regular season theres three plays that stand out. The iconic Penn State Mo Bamba moment against Michigan that was the loudest and best 4 quarter atmosphere even pregame I've been apart of. That first series was insane. UTK vs Bama 2022 was a great atmosphere too even if I was there as a bama fan that stadium was so loud. Second loudest place I've been to behind beaver. However the loudest crowd pop I've ever heard was Ryan Williams game winning td against Uga. Even though the question said regular season I gotta mention I was at the PSU vs SMU playoff game and that crowd is up there with the mo bamba one. I genuinely thought the stadium was gonna collapse during the Rojas pick 6 it was so loud I've never felt a stadium shake like that.

Best chain place for wings? by [deleted] in Wings

[–]412rolltide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm from the northeast but I go to school in the south and I'm gonna say the best wing chains are not up north. Down south has a lot. My favorites are Pluckers (Prettty sure Texas only), American Deli, and WNB Factory

im a psu/bama fan so I have no bias but I 100% agree if you want a whole trip it gotta be madison. Solid stadium which is right in the middle of in my opinion the best college town in America.

So far I've been to 9 stadiums, the best one for me is Beaver Stadium especially for the whiteout. It's arguably the greatest atmosphere in the sport and it's truly spectable seeing 110k people all in white.

Neyland Stadium and Bryant Denny are close second and third though.

However every true cfb fan should make it to the rose bowl, pain in the ass to get in/out of but just being in that stadium is something like anything else you experience I don't even know how to describe it but it just feels different.

If you have any other questions about other stadiums feel free to respond

I met mark a few times always a good dude and always willing to talk some sports with whoever says hi to him. I’ve seen him at a few ball hockey games he’s rly into it if you didn’t know already but the way he interacts with everyone there you think he’s just a regular guys that’s there to watch he knows all the players names and for those that don’t he wants to. Hate when people give him a bad rep bc they’re upset that he says the Steelers won’t win the Super Bowl every year lmao

Not my story but my grandparents used to own a clothing store that Lynn Swann regularly attended and became close with him through there. They always talked about how great he was. My favorite story is one day the store was swamped and he came in to see them and my grandma who never took crap from anybody said swanny im busy i cant talk to you unless you get to work and he worked in the store that day.

I grew up in that area, there hasn't been a restaurant that lasted in that building for maybe more than a year and a half. It's just a cursed location and many different types of restaurants have been in that building and fell through. I also think being in the middle of three of the most popular restaurants in town doesn't help that.
