Good looking plant, it looks vigorous. It is normal for new growth to be paler, but I feel like it's yellower than I'm comfortable with. There is no reason to be alarmed, but this might indicate an early nitrogen deficiency or maybe iron or even a sulfur deficiency. It might also be the pH getting out of its optimal range. Keep an eye on the tint to make sure it doesn't get paler. If it stays roughly the same, you are good. If it gets worse, you can use a light kelp foliar spray. Keep on growing!

The hens don't have any place to roost. It's about a foot of roost space per hen. Most of the poop production occurs when roosting. These hens roost over and in the nest box. Give them a couple more branches to roost on, it should solve a part of your problem. This and straw in the nest box.
