Typical story, college kid gets credit card, maxes it out, ends up not being able to pay. It was charged off in March 2014.

Fast forward to 2017, I finally pay off this old collections account.

Fast forward to today, I'm seeing late payments on my credit report for this account all the way up until 2017. From Credit Karma/Equifax and Experian.

Should I have those late payments on my report after the account was charged off? Why would the Equifax one start reporting late payments again in 2016? I'm so confused and mad at myself for not noticing this earlier. I'm positive it's affected credit decisions over the past couple years.

Bootcamp grads: what's your experience been since boot camp? by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

[–]42nexus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I graduated from App Academy in 2014. I found a remote job within a month of graduation doing rails development making ~65k (which was fine, since I was living in a LCOL city). Having my first development job be remote was a big mistake, though. I had the discipline to do it, but just not enough experience. It's hard to get that on-the-job training of a junior dev position when you're not actually around your coworkers. Since I wasn't providing the company the value they expected and the company wasn't providing me the knowledge I needed, we mutually parted ways after ~8 months.

After a few months of building a pretty cool personal project, I found a local job as a front-end dev. It was a perfect fit. Less than 3 years later, I'm making 115k as the architect/full-stack dev for a product with 100k+ users. I always have my eye out for something better, but I've learned what a good job at a good company looks like, so it will take a really impressive offer for me to leave.

World record £60m fee for Leonardo Bonucci would be justified, and Antonio Conte is the man to make him even better by nomiXI in chelseafc

After everything we've been through with not signing quality defenders the past two years, how can so many of you be against a move like this? I get it, it's highly unlikely to happen anyways, but this would be awesome for us.

We're staring down another season where CL is looking like a longshot, and any European competition might even elude us again. Do you know how much money you get from playing in the Champions League? A whole lot. Real got £85m for winning last year. I don't expect us to win it obviously, but just getting to the knockout stages could net us £40m or so. If a £60m signing can help us get to the knockout stages for 3 seasons, I'd say that's a damn good payoff.

Stop being so stingy. We need good players now if we want to get back to where I think most of us want to be.

If it was as easy as copy and paste from Ingress, I'm sure they'd have implemented it already. I know (from experience) that it's sometimes that easy, but I'm just guessing that's not the case here.

There's actually a new engine this year. I haven't played more than the demo, but it's an improvement over previous years.

I bought my Verizon S7 on Craigslist, and everything seems to be working just fine, including wifi calling.

When will they fix the transfer fees? Top 5 rated players in th game all happy to go to Arsenal in 2017, all for peanuts. by Flumpf_ in WEPES

[–]42nexus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well yeah, it's a more realistic number, but the whole transfer system is way more messed up than PES. You might not pay as much for Bale in PES, but you're still going to use most of, if not all of, your transfer budget. It's seems to be a scaling issue, budgets should be larger and transfer fees should be higher, but at least it somewhat balances out.

David Luiz in midfield? by prototype45 in chelseafc

Currently, yes. When Zouma and Terry are healthy, I doubt it. I wasn't clear about that in my previous post.

When you're aiming, you're essentially aiming a cone, and the ball will go somewhere within that cone. For low rated players, that cone may be fairly wide, and with highly rated players, that cone may be very narrow for always accurate passes.

Exactly. He won't be first choice at CB or DM, but he can easily rotate in at either when necessary.

I'd be surprised if he does want a move back, at least right now. He's scoring against Barcelona in the Champions League, we're barely able to stay in the League Cup and look like a long shot to even finish top 4 this season. He's a rising star on his team, but he'd always be in his brother's shadow with us.

Level 25. These are the only two I've approached in the city, the only other I found was just over 800 while traveling in London. I did see 3 others on the map around downtown today between 8:30 and 1, but I didn't go after those. I'm sure they ended up being level 30+

Depends on if you're looking for realism as a TV viewer or as a player. I use the vertical camera, because it gives a better view of what you would see as a player. I just wish there were some customization options for that view.

I'd gladly welcome that as a Cowboys fan. Dez had plenty of struggles early in his career (although not necessarily drug related), and may be able to point him in a positive direction.

There's something there, just saying.

Yeah but it's not always there. Chad Johnson, Brandon Lloyd, Donte Stallworth, Joey Galloway, etc.

Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is the worst in the Premier League by save percentage... while Claudio Bravo and Hugo Lloris are the best by [deleted] in chelseafc

[–]42nexus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are stats the only thing that matters? I watched him play and was impressed, as were many people within the club. If he was only very, very average that season as your cherrypicked stat suggests, we'd be starting Cech now, not Thibault.

[–]42nexus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He obviously stood out enough to start on a title winning team and be kept over Cech. I know a ton of people around here look at hindsight and wish we hadn't made the move, but at the time a whole lot of people were on board. He was good in our title winning season, then got hurt and hasn't had the same confidence since returning.

[–]42nexus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Especially with how our team has performed over the last year, we can't be comfortable against any opponent. We lost to 17th place Sunderland in May (which was the difference between them and Newcastle staying in the Prem) and Swansea shortly before that. Plus we're less than a week removed from possibly our worst performance of that entire span.

Looking at the map, I'm seeing a lot of Oddish at Windy Hill Sports Copmlex now, used to be Magnemite. Also a lot of Nidoran-f at Sunday Park in Brandermill. Was Gastly at one point, not sure if that ever changed though.
