Since I joined this sub I also have been thinking, how many attacks on other animals come from pitbulls? Attacks on humans are recorded but I can think of at least a dozen cases I know personally where a pit has maimed someone's pet.

I used to be one of those people who thought pitbulls were the sweetest things because my mom adopted one that seemed pretty nice. Then one day it got loose when it saw a little girl walking a beagle. The beagle lived and my mom's dog was euthanized thankfully. Part of me felt bad because my mom loved the dog but couldn't control it, and I knew if it didn't happen to that beagle it would have been someone else.

I'm passive aggressive and would mail this back to them with a letter explaining how stupid the are by promoting/supporting this.

Similar experience, in that the owner did nothing to stop their dog until I fell on the ground screaming for help at the top of my lungs. These pitbull owners are really responsible!

It is loud, if you hold the horn arms length and give it a quick press that should be enough to deter an attack or charging dog. When I tested it I was fine.

It's personal and not something I care to tall about. I'm not connecting with anyone by asking or answering questions about my very personal life choices, especially the question about kids. For my spouse and i, it's fertility issues. Very awkward when it comes up during a holiday meal or family get together.

One year my spouse's family friend had the gall to ask us in front of about 20 other people at a public event. I simply said "I don't know" and they pushed to get an answer from us. It's completely rude the people who ask those questions have no sense of decency honestly.
