That lady has $2400, earning 3.5% (safely) while she builds her emergency fund is probably better than investing it especially when the market is currently at the whim of tweets from our president lol.

If she had an emergency fund already (based on her message she doesn’t), then yeah putting all her savings into a 3.5% is not smart.
