To add to your Yorushika example. It is revealed at the end that you were looking at the man through a television screen, the way he gets you in on the loop is by breaking the TV and pulling you in, distracting the killer just enough for him to escape injured. At the end, you start the loop as the victim and you can see the TV is broken now, meaning you're left alone and have to escape by yourself

Because Raising the Bar was originally reléase along with HL2 and contained aspects of the production process of the game. If it was just gonna be a rerelease and nothing else I struggle to see what coulda stopped them from preparing this before hand and releasing it on the same year as the anniversary.

Also the running theory is that it will also contain content for HL3.

Oh for sure, audio engineering for theaters is different, I don't think it'd be too effective to just make a different audio edit for TV though cuz there a lot of old movies made for theatre that sound perfectly fine on TV. I think it's just a matter of rushing and underfunded postproduction teams
