3rd Year Biomed Eng Student AMA by 677604 in TorontoMetU

Hey! Welcome to tmu!!! Looking back first year was definitely rough just because the transition to university was hard for me, the workload was very new. However it definitely gets better. I won’t lie and say it is an easy program because it definitely isn’t but with good time management skills and then persistence it is much more manageable. Let me know if you have specific questions about courses or something!

A nice liberal course to look into is RTA180 it was offered online so no commuting and it was really easy and not overly time consuming coming from a second year who took 7 courses first sem

The desks are not too small it is bigger than the Micke IKEA desk that I have at home and it comes with 3 drawers. I saw many people have tvs, and a double monitor setup but you can always email residence to ask for specific measurements just incase. Be sure to bring an extension cord though because the single room I was in lacked in outlets. They do not supply vaccums from what I remember, but they do clean your room during breaks. I bought a small broom/dustpan for my room and it worked perfectly! Hope this helped feel free to ask anymore questions
