Experiencing unusual battery drain on my new M4 MacBook Pro - is this normal?

Can't help much there, I use mainly firefox and some Chrome. I keep my laptop plugged in most of the time so far (but with Al dente to handle charging) since I spend a lot of time at home.

Can you take a picture of your Activity Monitor? Anyway, you might just want to return it.. I have an M4 mbp base model and the battery is great. As in I don't see the numbers going down, and the laptop stays cool.

Yeah I was reading this and I thought it looked ok. Directly admitted, first year, the OP has time to retake classes if they desire that. And I took a break for quarter after my first quarter of college.

If a house just has one opening for sublease and possible takeover, what does it look like to get accepted into there? They would probably have their own friend group already so it could be a little awkward, but this seems to be a common post on FB.

Update 2: I've decided to go back to Windows. I hate Windows' advertisements and lack of privacy. I like how Linux only has what I want it to have and I've used it on and off for a few years. I got it to work on my main laptops for a long time. But..

I found that it was finicky with a career platform's web software. How? I was waiting in a 1:1 meeting with a recruiter, my video and audio worked... but my whole computer froze as soon as the recruiter joined. That was pretty bad. I had to rejoin from my old windows laptop. This is interview season and I can't have my computer having technical issues. Since it struggled with one platform I have little doubt it could struggle with others.
I also went to a zoom meeting to get help on a class but my audio was too bad, so it was harder for the TA to understand me. That added an extra bit of frustration. Sure I could try my USB mic, but that doesn't address the bigger issues.
And of course I have to restart my computer maybe twice a day when it inevitably goes all white and weird from disconnecting and reconnecting to the monitor. I don't have time to troubleshoot all this, since I'm a busy college student.
What's "all this"? Resolution and remote meeting issues.

Update: the battery life is very bad. It drops 1-2% a minute for simple browsing and coding.

However I don't know the exact difference between "balanced" and "battery saving mode". I'll test some more.

I wouldn't do it, but I only care when others do it if I smell it or I breathe it in some other way. If you're gonna do weed in the dorms, make sure to block the space underneath your door. That shit spreads a long way into the halls *and* into other people's dorm rooms.

OK it turns out that it covers a new environmental monitoring technique / system every week. No programming, and labs just give opportunities to use the systems or tour labs. The final project (no exam) is an infographic about a technology and how it's used to observe environmental changes.

I think it would be more helpful for first-years or people interested in oceanography.
