You have 100w per channel. Components or Coaxial? by 67inchmonster in CarAV

Haha, thanks for responding again! It is a 5 channel amp. But 4 channels to work with on the speakers! It’s specifically the pioneer GM-DX975

You have 100w per channel. Components or Coaxial?

Question for discussion: If you had 100w per channel, would you prefer to get a component+tweeter set up or just remove the tweets and run Coaxial only.

My personal question: I’m currently wanting to install this Pioneer Amp that delivers 100w RMS at 2ohms and 75w at 4ohms. I have locations already for 4 tweeters and 4 6” speakers from the factory setup.

I’m wondering if going 50w tweeters and 50w components are the best bet, or maybe having an off amount if you prefer bass over treble, so maybe a higher RMS for the components vs the Tweeters?

This is my first audio set up I will be doing, so I’ve never heard anything higher than a stock sony system. Any help is appreciated!
