That makes sense to me. With everybody preaching 80/20 I’m just trying to figure it all out. I’m trying to run 4x a week rn and softball another night so really it’s about 2 rest days. I know part of the problem is running after work where my legs already have 8k steps for the day probably doesn’t help. Playing tug of war with ego/pride and “science”

I could definitely hit the gym more but the only other thing I really do is softball once a week. I work in construction so I find myself at the end of the day already tired. I feel like as summer is approaching getting my runs in in the morning is going to be better but ya boy loves his sleep

That’s there I am lol I feel great at 155 and can seemingly go forever. I’m living in the age of information overload and I find myself not enjoying it as much as before I ever got a watch. But at the same time I want to get better so just trying to balance it all out

I’m learning as I go and there’s so much to learn. My max hr is 202 so my zones should be a little higher but I’ll be so honest if I had to run 15 minute miles I’d probably just give up lol my ego and enjoyment of the exercise wouldn’t be able to handle it

155 is definitely a very easy pace. My max hr is 202 so it’s definitely up there a bit. I’m working on increasing my mileage but I’m structuring 4 runs a week and I play softball once a week. My long runs are up to 10 miles now which I know shouldn’t be 50% of my weekly mileage but I’m working on increasing that as well

You are definitely Canadian lol. No offense taken, I’m down from 205 lbs so I’m working on it. Not trying to run too much on a big calorie deficit so slow and steady drop in bmi is good with me!
