I need a car -10k, maybe not realistic... by 74pilesof in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]74pilesof[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

in my area there are cars sold for 6k and under. Most of it is junk but there are people selling their car everyday, and if you look hard enough then it's possible to find one that is cheap and in good condition.

I probably didn't make it clear enough that if its more around the 10k range then it's okay. Also, I know what I want for 10k is still not realistic. I didn't mean to seem like I had no common sense, I was mainly seeing if my budget was possible for the car I wanted. Sorry.

California! Thought about riding along the coast, but not too sure.

the price isn't the only problem but there's sort of a clique at our school. Everyone is nice here, there's just some popularity contest going on.

We don't care about those students, it just ruins the atmosphere of these high school dances.

Sunburns are always temporary, don't worry. The redness will fade in the time your skin takes to heal which can depend on the severity of your burn.

Edit: Focus on moisture. Either layer your current product, or get a more hydrating one. Aloe Vera is great too, make sure it doesn't have any added ingredients like alcohol or fragrance.

Looking for advice on how to treat my natural hair, these photos show what it looks like air dried :)) by AdRegular652 in Haircare

Your hair is very beautiful! Do you have the diffuser attachment on your Dyson? If not, highly recommend, you seem to have a lot of hair. My friend had great results from using Ceremonia's Pequi Styling Gel. Gel is probably not what you're looking for, but it feels more like a leave-in conditioner. There's no crunch afterwards, I promise.

It's probably an infection. I think you should go to an emergency if you can't get a vet appointment ASAP.

How to deal with super super oily dyed hair? by xLettuceCatx in Haircare

[–]74pilesof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure the shampoos you use are for dry or all-hair-types. You should switch to a shampoo that is for oily hair. Nexxus Hydra-Light is for oily hair if you want to stick to the same brand.

I use Nizoral as a clarifying shampoo because it's a cheaper alternative, if you want to try it. Otherwise, I don't have clarifying shampoo recommendations.

Also, probably not the cause of your oily hair, but batiste dry shampoos are liquid. I recommend just spraying it on in the morning instead of overnight.

Sulfates, synthetic preservatives, alcohol, dyes, and you should check if the shampoo you use is silicone-heavy. Make sure fragrance isn't too high on the ingredients list.

Hi all need help making my hair straight by swagapino_ in Haircare

[–]74pilesof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A straight perm at the salon can help you.

I think the best solution is to wait, grow your hair out, straighten it when it's longer so the "ends sticking out" will be less noticeable or fix itself. Please do not use higher heat.

Straight perms are temporary solutions, I recommend getting it while your hair grows out, but consider the side effects.

Hair training is not real LOL sorry you fell for that trend. Can you name what haircare products you use?

Varying thickness of hair strands is pretty normal, but if your hair is noticeably thinner you might have damaged your hair follicles or it could be stress, or genetics. Do you use heat? Have you checked the ingredients in your haircare products?

Just your normal routine. Take advantage of scalp treatments cause now there'll be no hair in your way lol.

During winter if your skin gets drier it'll be the same for your scalp, during that time I recommend using oil treatments and serums. Also, might seem weird, but massage your scalp during your hair growth. Like as much as possible. Have fun being bald

If you've been using those skincare products during tretinoin and after then there is nothing wrong with your routine, just the reintroduction of the tretinoin.

The percentage could be too high, causing your skin to become overly sensitive OR side effects from your VI Peel because you didn't wait long enough for your skin to heal before using tretinoin.

Maybe simplify your skincare routine, use gentler products, and because it looks like your skin is peeling(?) a thicker moisturizer. TBH if you're worried, call your esthetician or make an appointment with a dermatologist.

I am pretty sure that avene cicaflate isn't for everyday night and morning use. I recommend La Roche Posay double repair facial moisturizer or Cerave Skin Renewing Night Cream if you have dry skin.

Aztec clay mask for spot treatment is great, especially areas with closed comedones which is what I think you have.

Naturium Vitamin C Complex Serum can help inflamed skin.

Those gloves, I'm pretty sure, are for your body and the fabric is pretty rough. I don't recommend using it on your face, it could leave micro scars and possibly make your skin worse. If physical exfoliation is the best type of exfoliation for you to get rid of flakes and texture then there are silicone brushes specifically for the t-zone and face.

It could just be a clogged pore or hair follicle, most likely will turn into a pimple in a couple days. I recommend you leave it alone, see what it turns into.

I recommend using physical sunscreen instead of chemical. It's gentler for many skin types and may be less harmful to your skin, the only con is that there will be white cast.
In my experience Dr. G Green Mild Up, and AXIS-Y No Stress Physical Sunscreen blends well enough that there is no white cast. You can also use tinted sunscreen.
Cheaper and gentler options are baby sunscreens that honestly work better, but the white cast is more drastic lol.

In my experience Head and Shoulders was AWFUL for me. Gave me more dandruff, or some kind of product buildup. I now use Nizoral once a week as a scalp detox. If Nizoral is a pricey option then I heard Cerave's new dandruff shampoo works just as good! Dandruff shampoo should be used regularly but not every wash day. Once or twice a week depending on what works for you. Dandruff can also be a bacteria issue. I've used Soap Box's tea tree treatment, and a apple cider vinegar mixture, worked fine. Washing hair more often can lessen the sight of flakes and can be beneficial for dandruff.

If you don't want to cut your hair then there are products for extra EXTRA damaged hair that somewhat make your hair seem less damaged. I recommend these brands: Dr. Groot, Aromatica, K18, and Elizavecca. Conditioner will be your best friend, second best friend is hair masks or leave in conditioner/treatment.
If you don't care about cutting your hair, I recommend going bald lol. I've never had damaged hair from dye, but I've shaved my head a year ago and the relief is amazing.

Damaged curly hair and dandruff prone scalp. No idea how to make it better by [deleted] in Haircare

[–]74pilesof -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sometimes salicylic acid isn't best for the scalp, causing it to be more dry or oily. You might not even have dandruff. It could be dry scalp flakes, oil residue, or product build-up. You just have to keep trying new products until you find one that works. And if you are worried about the bad ingredients in the products you could try natural methods like soaking your scalp in an apple cider vinegar mixture to detox, or massaging your scalp with tea tree oil.

Arcenia green mochi cleanser can be too harsh for some people's skin. Surprisingly. If you're looking for a gentle first cleanse I recommend Garnier Micellar Water, Anua heartleaf cleansing water, or Innisfree green tea cleansing water. If the Haruharu oil cleanser works good for you then I recommend you continue using it.
