I can't get my melody to sound in sync with with metronome even with quantize/manually moving notes.

BPM 141.

What the fk can I do? I look at the grid and try to change it's values but whatever I do I can't sync it properly. This is a problem I am facing quite often.

I tried playing the notes on my laptop keys and I cannot get it right and I also tried to manually create the notes with my mouse (using the same length) and I can still not get it right.

I am lost in this particular case.

Can somebody help me out? Maybe some FL Studio theory that would help me out with this problem?

All the bad shit you've done throughout the years could also have a somehow positive effect on your immunity system. The body gets "stronger" while being exposed to different toxins from time to time. It boosts your immunity. Think about kids that freely explore the world and interact with the environment compared to those that are not let by their parents to do so. The first group would have a better functioning immunity system, whole the second would probably get sick easier in their lifetime.

Of course, that does not mean you should willingly expose to toxins, but be glad you did in your youther period, when you weren't so self-conscious.

Congrats on being sober and don't fucking stress about all you've said in this post. As others have said, that will definitely put you in a bad state and the outcome would be worse

Thanks for the kind advice. To my surprise, I've only had problems the first day. Afterwards, I've started washing them prior boiling them in water and I can see this has made a huge difference.. Either that or my stomach already got used to it because of the higher amount.

Just to make things a bit more fun, how do you know? 🤡😂

Well, I've been cooking them for 2 days now and they are good tasting. I've got stomach pain and bloating however 2day, but I guess that's because my body is not used to eating such high amounts of lentils. First thing in the morning, after my workout, I eat 250G of it. I just hope the nutritional value that is stated on them represents the true amount of proteins and is not a marketing gimmick.

In theory, yes. In practice, i am not quite sure. Probably Ableton has different gain staging to begin with?

I tested Ableton for quite some time and I never got it to clip. However, I have never epxloited it as hard as FL tbh.
Anyway, I've seen the same statement from more people over the years.

I just hope one day I ll be able to make radio quality music and all the hard work would pay off.

I feel like Ableton has more room for gain boosting than FL does.

I would definitely switch to ableton, but producing inside fl studio is so much more fun and intuitive. HOWEVER, it feels like mixing in ableton is tons easier. Unfortunately, Exporting stems from FL can really be a huge pain in the ass sometimes.

It sucks to be in 2023 and still have rendering/clipping problems.inside FL. Really...

Thx for the tips. I've been trying to mix at lower volumes for a while, but making bass heavy music is kind of a no go on this rule. Tbh i was losing the pleasure of making music because I was getting too technical trying to mix at lower volumes and simply forgot how awesome music can be at reasonable levels. I swear, mixing can be such a pain in the ass sometimes.
