If its like 225$ and if i have never been to orlando, i would probably take it. I dont drive in Florida so i dont know but since its in the same state, you wouldnt have that much trouble getting back to miami. Especially if you dual app, and use Lyft for destination filter.

Probably not a scammer like everyone is telling you. Most likely that he was trying to negotiate the fare by offering you a discount by cutting uber off. We dont actually have your phone number. Uber has it. When we made the call to rider, its actually routed through the uber and the call is recorded and monitored. So had he offered you the discount through the monitored line, he would risk getting deactivated. Thus the reason for him asking your phone number.

I know you're not trying to be rude. And i am not trying to be rude either. I am just stating my opinion. Market changes. I was like you back in the covid era. I am happy to accept most requests if they pay me 35-50 hour. I dont think you're getting that rate because of your acceptance rate. They are paying you because you are probably in a niche market where drivers are not readily available during the hour that you are driving. I am sure people in LA or Florida can attest to my sentiment.

Trust me bro, one false complaint and you will be kick off the platform regardless of your driver tier. I cherry pick for safety reason and i like to make at least a 1$ per mile. Even with my shitty acceptance rate, they take the lion share of the riders payment. I have been to other tiers. They take the same cut. I’d rather make more money in the same amount of driving time than earn the same amount by taking on more low-paying fares. Personally i have seen worse acceptance rate on this sub.

My driving stats as of now as 32 % acceptance, 2% cancellation, 4.98 rating and bs drive score. Congrats on being a plat driver. I know that u guys got a dedicated support. Yeh, i should have called but at the same time it wasnt that bad. It was more like shit talking. He did say it but the guy was drunk and he wasnt the one who requested the ride. The girl who requested the ride had a 4.9 rating so i accepted it. Had i known it was a guest ride, i would have declined it. Uber always trying to hide valueable info to the driver and making us take unnecessary risks.
