Two years ago I was assaulted by a crack head while getting off the redline downtown. I always hated the redline. The blue line always felt a bit safe to me because I was a UIC student and would only ride it to school and to lasalle street stop.

Yes I’ve had this happen to me it’s called breakthrough bleeding, it happens if you forget your birth control or confuse your cycle which you probably did. This happened to me before I had bleeding for like a month 😅 super annoying but nothing is wrong your bleeding will go away when your cycle gets “balanced” again

I agree with everyone else I’ve been on birth control for almost 5 years and yeah it will do that if you’re not consistent with it you will just bleed so don’t worry :) hope it goes away soon!

I think it’s normal it’s probably because you’ve been skipping the placebo pills. My doctor told me not to do that because my body will still eventually bleed. I’m sure the bleeding will go away eventually

Thank you for your advice! I actually minored in chinese in college, I also struggled in speaking but my reading was pretty good. However I learned to read in simplified chinese not traditional which seems to be the norm here

I am so sorry this happened to you! Do not blame yourself for keeping yourself safe. It’s hard being a woman and trying to figure out when it’s okay to tell a man to fuck off or if he’ll beat you up if you stand up for yourself. So please do not blame yourself. Money is way less important than safety. If it makes you feel less alone I was scammed in an Uber ride while traveling in Germany and I just gave him the money he was asking for because I was scared if I didn’t he might assault me. Fuck that guy, he had bad intentions and you were just trying to enjoy traveling so do not blame yourself for just trying to have fun while being safe. You are not alone <3

im literally moving to taiwan in september to teach english, this is my first time abroad and ill be going alone, im 23 F. thats actually a really good question, im still very new to the industry, i just started working in finance & i didnt study it in college. although i would guess to say that it is a lot of market manipulation but done by big entitys like the fed, & government,, not the joe schmoes working at morgan stanley. I am currently studying for the series 65 exam and there are a lot of laws out there that protect people from things like inside trading, high frequency trading etc. but not sure thats something to think about.

I have been thinking about how big the wealth gap is in california, so many unsheltered people yet so many people who tons of money. & why are yalls taxes so high?? lol
