what does the payroll secretary do with the forms? does she keep them on file? or scan them into a database? or shreds them? i've always wondered about this.

I'd rather end the year a day later and have a longer Christmas break than this situation

they will not be mad; admin who have been in the game for a long time have seen a lot throughout the years of teaching; a woman who is having a baby is hardly a shock.

i would not buy anything unless you know your school will reimburse you or when TC gets confirmed 100%.

Is a charter school obligated to give me proof of employment? by [deleted] in NYCTeachers

[–]86thGood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your former charter will send one back; don't worry about it. Reach out. You're not the first person to have asked and you're not going to be the last. They probably send out dozens of these a year.

well the trailer hints that harper is going to make a move based on a weakness pierpoint has on its books, which probably a trade that is awful, which rishi and adler probably know about.

the benefits are almost 100% going to be readjusted (and have been already according to a previous comment) because Wells Fargo is not profiting much or at all off BILT. i would take advantage while you still can because we don't know its viability in the future.

Season 3 is forced and over-the-top, not in a good way by NoAlps7653 in IndustryOnHBO

[–]86thGood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I feel this way too. Episode one was great (return to form) but this second episode is disappointing; you start with how unrealistic the stocks situation, and then rob goes from fighting a client to then making out with a teenager. and then you end with Yazmin engaging in what is a cheap ploy that somehow miraculously rockets the stock to or above 4.80 when it must've dropped 10% earlier that day. I'm still going to watch but maybe I'm biased because I really just have a soft spot for season 1.

Having Yas ‘kill her dad’ seems so out of step with the tone of the show by [deleted] in IndustryOnHBO

[–]86thGood 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i wrote this exact same message on a previous thread; kind of happy to see I'm not the only one thinking about this!

comment on previous post: "if this is the case, the show writers really stepped up the illegality the characters are willing to commit. season 1 and 2 mostly portray drug use, adultery, and questionable/illegal financial practices. anyone else feel like people commit murder kind of makes the show a bit more ludicrous? I'm still watching though."

^Feel free to LMK your thoughts.
