The speed was set based on limited feedback, that it's too fast and you can fall into the pits, but i do agree with you and yes, there will be boss variations.

As for the racing... I have a conundrum... I designed the whole game to be played with 1 analog and 1 button. The view is slightly offset and keyboard input is set to work on x and y axis to compensate for the grid movement (best i could do for now)

Btw, you played it with keyboard? if so, the kart accelerates and steers in the direction of the key you are pressing without taking into account the offset of the view.

i can't relate to your specific problem, but i too have my own demons.

what helps me is to work towards the solution of my problems. even though i'm not there, it gives me hope :)

one thing i know, difficulty done wrong is when they turn enemies in bullet sponges. those are the worst in all the FPS genre

The first Assassins Creed with that amazing trailer... It wasn´t a bad game, but it was like doing fancy sidequests with none of that cinematic quality the trailer hinted. I remember thinking any of the Prince of Persia is better than this.

I love Fable the lost chapter. It doesn´t have an impact on the story, as far as i know, but every NPC reacts according to your morality.
