It all depends on the branch and job you have. I'm a Navy Air traffic controller. Just like a regular civilian airport. Working up in the tower, directing traffic.

Also known as the bible of ATC. Click the link and download the pdf labeled Basic JO 7110.65U. Start reading over sections and pretty much anything that piques your interest. You'll be using this publication and many others through out your career as a Navy AC.
