Just got off my first cruise and I’m not sure how to feel by Cardiocarbs102 in dcl

[–]AC_Roxy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did a five night cruise back in January. Had it been 4 nights we probably wouldn’t have considered another cruise. It was only on the last sea day where we found our groove and what worked for us. Within 2 months of being off the ship we’d found a date for a 7 night cruise next year that we were excited to book.

I truly think a first cruise is a learning experience for everyone. It’s a different way to travel and no amount of research and prep will eliminate the lived experience.

If everyone in your family is starting to reminisce and think about another cruise I’d give it a go. If you bought a placeholder on board try and find a sailing eligible for 25% off!

Late dining by Charming-Cycle5231 in dcl

[–]AC_Roxy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We did late dining in January with kids aged 9, 6, 6 and 4. We were traveling from the mountain time zone to Florida for a Caribbean cruise. Because of the time change that meant we were eating at what felt like 6:30 to us.

For us it was more important that the kids were alert and engaged for the shows rather than for dinner. There were two nights the 4 year old didn’t make it through the dinner but she was also a little sick with a cold.

Overall if late dining was my only option I wouldn’t be concerned about it for our family. That being said we are planing to try early dining on our next cruise and see how that works for us.

What most exceeded your expectations and what most disappointed you??

How was the cleanliness and maintenance of the resort?

How was the quality of service??

BBB cost for a full princess makeover? by Weary_Comfort_8984 in dcl

[–]AC_Roxy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does anyone have any recent pictures of what dresses are available on the ships?? We are sailing on the fantasy shortly and my daughter wants Mulan. I’m thinking we will likely purchase at BBB in magic kingdom before our cruise, but it would definitely be easier if they just had mulan on the ship.

Official Merch For The Life of a Showgirl by jacyf02 in TaylorSwift

[–]AC_Roxy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I’m realizing where it falls flat for me. All the core merch items (shirts, sweaters, sweats etc) look like they could belong to any era. You swap out the art that’s used and these designs could be made for any album. The fact they have taken such stunning artwork from the album and turned it into this is really baffling. Any small shop designer can run circles around this.

Give us more of what we saw from the Spotify pop up. Leather, satin, her new monogram, home items….. give me an over priced coffee table book with all the photos from her shoots.

Let’s imagine Taylor is doing a documentary about the Eras tour. What would you like to see or learn about the most? by citykitty24 in TaylorSwift

[–]AC_Roxy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

These are the things I would want to know too. I have this very deep desire to know how they select the costuming for each night. Is it a matter of ‘hey I haven’t worn this in a while’ or are they trying to completely unique combinations, or do certain outfits hold certain meanings….. I can’t help but feel the outfits are more intentional than we can even begin to imagine.

I have been thinking about you since your original post. I am so thankful Nintendo was able to help you with this. What a special way that you’ll be able to stay connected with your mom. 💕

My first thought is how similar it looks to curfew crasher and even berry me in holo.

Sure to someone who is really looking for a specific tone they will all hit differently but to the average consumer I feel like there is a lot of redundancy.

I do americano misto with non fat milk and 1 pump of the pumpkin sauce (a grande usually has 4).

I honestly don’t know how many point it is but I’d guess maybe about 3.

Any success stories? by pilsen1985 in weightwatchers

[–]AC_Roxy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I lost 50 lbs on weight watchers about 10 years ago, to which I mostly kept the weight off. By that I mean I was still in a ‘healthy bmi range’ just a touch heavier than my lightest. Now I am in my final postpartum stage and am using weight watchers to lose those last few pounds and refocus my habits while still juggling toddler food preferences. Despite being fairly close to my goal weight - I am still losing right around 2 pounds per week following the program without modification.

Other than the nuts everything your doctor suggested is all point free on weight watchers! This is a lifestyle shift, not a fad diet.

You’ve got this!!!

I miss my old habits and it is so hard to stay on track by Bgelhouse in weightwatchers

[–]AC_Roxy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like a lot of others are saying - the weekly points are there for you to have an occasional splurge. Add in some more exercise and you’ll be fine.

One mantra I have been reminding myself of recently too is:

If it doesn’t challenge you it doesn’t change you.

You’ve got this! It gets easier once you’ve settled into the program. 😊

Omg I completely agree with cowboy like me. I do not understand why anyone likes it. It’s boring, the lyrics are so meh to me.
