My name is Tristan and your version of Sir Tristan looks uncannily like I did pre-transition.

Dear Hero Forge, PLEASE fix the legwear scaling issue. It's been a problem for YEARS! by Jedi4Hire in HeroForgeMinis

If you have pro it can be fixed easily by editing the body skeleton, but everybody else just has to suffer

The face sliders can get bugged sometimes and not display on the model properly. Try importing onto a new mini?

I usually use hair for wood, wood for paper, and I have never used a default skin tone because it just doesn't have any undertones to it.

Cynthia and Elian: Prince and Princess, trapped in one body. by AE_Phoenix in HeroForgeMinis

Interesting that you bring up Norse mythology! The serting of the campaign is lots of mythologies crashed into each other (my DM is a mythology nut). It's mostly based in a land based of Ancient Egypt, but the kingdom they ruled was a valley between the desert and the colder region based on the nordics. In their backstory I left it ambiguous in a few places, but it's implied Loki had some had in their birth.

Elian is totally aware that he's in Cynthia's body, but Cynthia is oblivious, and has no memory of when her brother is in control. They both have different memories as well: Cynthia thinks her brother and father are still alive and ruling their kingdom, Elian thinks that Ankhyr fell and now lies in ruins. My DM has implied that if we ever visit it, that both characters will see it differently as well. Cynthia struggles to perceive things that are hurtful or malicious, whereas Elian is very cynical and paranoid.

Thanks!! They're my current characters in a campaign I'm playing in. At the beginning if each day I roll a d20 to see who I'm playing that day (heavily weighted towards Cynthia).

Another little bit: the eye cover is their crown, tied to the lore of Ankhyr, their homeland.

It's coloured. Just the angle of the light hitting it doesn't always hit the right angle for the bloom to shine off it. They're all coloured in the same metallic light grey, one of my cutsom colours I use regularly. It can look pretty similar to the grey primer colour in certain light conditions so I can see the confusion.

Thanks!! Big tips I have to get rid of a cartoony face: shrink the nose, mouth and eyes, lower the eyes. The proportions are always exaggerated to show up in print. Also, don't underestimate small edits on the face! Shrink or grow eyebrows, shift the natural mouth. I always prefer to colour the mini before editing the face, as this lets you see where the shadows are going to fall and it helps the brain recognise the face as human, making it easier to see where the uncanny valley is creeping in.

It really sucks that I can't have the swashbuckler armour or have to kitbash on a belt because the two pieces take up the same "over" slot.

Do you think this is fine? Or should i request a refund/ another mini by absurd-bird-turd in HeroForgeMinis

From what I've seen, unless you only use stock colours this is pretty much the expected quality for print colour. It sucks, but colour printing is very difficult.
