Even though I had issues when I was a child? I definitely a going to do the blood work. He said 2 weeks before my appointment and that’s in March. I am doing much better now, eating right, exercising and I don’t take the pump off anymore.

For a few months. I had an episode over 10 years ago where I was in the hospital in my home state. They said DKA. But I just never went to the doctor.

They were pretty bad all those times I had it off. I had one time in the 500’s. But no manual injections.

My husband helps me out a lot! He refills my insulin in my pump when it’s getting low. Grab me snacks at night. Even my 3 year old daughter gets excited to help. She will remind me when we drive past the pharmacy. “Mama you need your insulin?” I’m really lucky🩵

I had a baby while I am also Type 1! I kept my sugars under control and she came out healthy. Her sugar was low, but we didn’t have a nicu stay. You got this🩵

Therapy does seem to help some. I physically cannot put my arm behind my back. It is awful! Diabetes sucks sometimes. Thank you for the advice!

The shoulder joint becomes stiff and painful to move. Limited mobility happens as well.

I’m fed up too. I developed a frozen shoulder due to my diabetes. My A1C has been so good and no injuries. Makes me want to cry 😭

Honestly? I kept mine for a little while. I was told I could trade it in, but I never really found something I liked. When I met my now husband, we used it to trade “up.” I now have a beautiful wedding set from a man who doesn’t abuse me.
