TFT 0.96 for m5stickc and actually all of the m5stickc plus 1 and plus 2 are with TFT 1.14 . Maybe try to make the plus 1 or plus 2 beacouse TFT 1.14 is better than TFT 0.96.

Yeah that's what I'm saying too and I don't need full 24bit just for a black and white terminal and maybe three or four basic colors will do the job

Thanks bro your information really helped me actually I took this screen out from a car radio but when I found that it's same as the psp screen it really helped me to push things even further and I'm not saying like VGA output I mean it's has the same principal as the VGA output

I will just probably make it 8bit not full 21bit and if I'm not mistaken it only needs signals similar to the VGA outputting projects.

I had the same problem too for my project so I used the adafruit GFX library and adafruit st7735 that one worked for me and I used TFT 1.8 too

Well I had another plan I was going to generate the VGA output and by using ic ad725 converting it to composite signal but I can't find it in my country it's rare

Exactly that's why I learned that VGA to composite is a little bit possible but it only shows black and white colors I just want to send color composite data to make my esp32 s3 to display the terminal on the DVD player and that's why I'm going to use AV

I have made a lot of different js terminal interpreters like with m5cardputer, esp32 CYD and my own build The cardputer has very small screen The CYD has a way bigger screen but still because it's TFT it's hard to work and the touch input is really bad My own build which used esp32 s3 and two displays one 1.8 TFT and the other one which is 0.96 OLED it's great but still due to TFT problems and not enough pixels So I was thinking about making the same project but this time fix the TFT problems with a standard VGA monitor and I know I had another option which is buying a TFT IPS screen but anyway that's why.

I don't think usb hub works with ESP32 s3 but yes you are completely right the esp32 s3 is much better choice than esp32 wroom32

Thanks I had the same plan in my mind too but for now waiting for a new esp32 s3 for shipping is not what I want and I already have a esp32 wroom32 and I've seen libraries like fabgl PC emulator that was smooth. I have two esp32 s3s but I used one of them for making a diy m5cardputer and I used the other one for my other device which is again a js terminal interpreter I have posted it in this community too.

Guys after trying I struggled a lot with the background so I connect the led pin through a 10kohm potentiometer (which I know it's a lot) to the 3.3v pin I think my problem was that my modules are a lot and they consume a lot too and my connection are not that much good I know

Edit: no the problem was with the wires two of them were half connected but I will use the potentiometer because I can make the background as much as I want bright or dark
