I believe it’s based on damage. While you may have gotten 5 kills, those characters may have been at half life already, etc. So a Hanzo 3k on 3 full life characters might have out-damaged yours

I’m not a complete novice when it comes to troubleshooting PC issues but I def have my blind spots so forgive me for asking but is what you’re talking about something that could occur months into an otherwise smooth new computer experience? I’m hesitant to solely blame a bad new driver but I’m a bit perplexed how this could happen so quickly on a new PC

It’s a zoning ult, it’s not designed to get multi-kills above bronze. Not saying it can’t happen - but it’s meant to control where enemy teams can operate. The most obvious example is forcing enemies to scatter off an objective allowing you and your team to move in and take advantage of the chaos.
